bikers aid jamboree 2008.

the malayheritage centre (mhc) are grateful to have the support of Bikers’ Aid as our volunteer arm and fundraising partner for the kg gelam on wheels – bikers' aid motor jamboree 2008 event. bikers aid was first set up in 2004 aimed to help the less fortunate. it comprises of several independent biker teams which include independent mc, bad inc, hog, team revenge, team eagle, team 711, gillera troopaz, simply scooter, aj Sscooter, stubborn carbon and goldwinger marshall. recently, they have contributed to the tabung amal aidilfitri, raising up to $15,000. bikers aid have also been mhc’s volunteer arm and have helped raise funds through charity ketupat, an event held during the fasting month of 2007.

Ms. Denise Phua, MP for Jalan Besar GRC and Advisor for Kg Glam GROs will be gracing the event as Guest-of-Honour.

went for a late lunch with adik just now at central.

and when i was eating my lunch, heard a loud thud.
ignoring it, i continued eating.

until there was a fuss at the coffee shop.
someone just committed suicide at blk 257 (i think) at serangoon central la.

cool or wattttt.

wanted to go over and kepo2.
take picture and stuff.

then the mamak take a long time to settle the stuff.

so by the time we managed to go over,
all we saw was,

i dont understand how can some singaporeans can be so kiasu.
this morning, i had to sit all the way back in the bus coz that was the only seat available.
so when i had to alight the bus, it was already crowded so the guy who sat beside me was trying to give way to me and this guy who was standing was like so bloody impatient trying to "take over" my seat when i have not even gotten out yet.

bloody hell.

the seat wont bloody run away la.
shit sey.
and its always with this particular race that these kind of things happen to me.

pfffft.

now i sound so racist already.

a fundraising event organised by bikers' aid international, supported by the malay heritage centre and karezzma engku n pte ltd.

date: 30th march 2008 (sunday)
time: 0900am to 1100pm (concert from 0800pm onwards)
tickets: $2/pax (free entry for kids below 7yo)
concert tickets: $30

do come and join us at the malay heritage centre on the 30th of march for a fun-filled event. highlights of the day will be hip hop dance by singapore hip hop, live band performance, motorbike stunt by indonesian sog, ratu kebaya, mr. biker & biker babe, glorious food, most beautiful airbrush helmet competition, lucky draw and many more.

competitions for most beautiful airbrush helmet and best bike is open to public with an entry fee of $20. forms and tickets available at the malay heritage museum now.

ouh.
and the grand prize for the lucky draw is a 125cc bike, yaw.
of course without coe, insurance and road tax.
but still. =)

its been a while since i last updated, no?

i dont really know where to start but just bear with me, ok. coz the entry prolly gonna be totally jumbled up.
though i hope not.

6th was a kecoh day for me.
because there was like a last minute booking for the day after and sri warisan was not able to make it.

luckily kan, one of my volunteers is part of a performing arts group and they agreed to do it in such a short notice.

thank you so much.

thank you to variasi performing arts group. =)

it also happen to be the last day for yani on the 7th.
had a lil feast for her, kfc.
free food la.

gonna miss my paru-goreng-cum-pokka-tea partner.

it was asy's birthday on the 9th. my lil hero is now 4 years old.

bought him cake and he look surprised.
but too bad, nobody took any pictures.

haiyah.

12th was zaza's birthday.
member da tua la.

hahaha.

14th was zana's last day.
had our late lunch on the 13th at amirah's grill coz gm's on leave on the day itself.
quite a spread, i tell you.
all were pretty much bloated and sleepy afterwards, and the weather just simply "compliments" the whole setting.

on the 14th itself, i was pretty much running around like onemadwoman, without a single chance to do my administrative work.
allbecauseofthestupidfoodarrangement.
i was on half day that day because after that, i had to rush to meritus mandarin for 4pm's 60th anniversary dinner.
i didnt snap any pictures. pffft.

bummer.

went to work just now.
to settle some stuff.
there was sleeq, yaw.

didnt snap pictures with them though.
but syirah and shaz did.
"my friends wanna have a picture with you both but they're too shy to ask"

lol.

ouh.
and i got both sleeq's members numbers in my hp, yaw.
haha.
for work purposes la of course. =)

it was a date with the sisters yesterday,
considering my supposedly date with babylove had to be cancelled.

thanks to that "safe" guy.
pffft.

started the day quite late.
about 12.30,
where we head down to toa payoh for lunch at fork & spoon.
kakak's treat.

after which,
off to little india.
took the train and alighted at dhoby ghaut to catch the free shuttle service.
while waiting, adik camwhored a lil bit.
and she was so kecoh making sure that our umbrellas had the word "esprit" facing the same direction.

haha.

and we camwhored on the bus too. =)

smiley face is kakak, obviously.

went to buy kakak's indian top at this shop, coz she'll be attending a wedding of her indian friend at a temple.
nice la the bajus.
then when kakak was considering to buy the baju, and told the aunty that we'll walk around first, the aunty was like forcing kakak to buy.

like wtf sey.

lack of customer service.
chet.

then went to mustafa centre.
VERY bad choice.
it was full of people i tell you.
so in the end, i was in a pretty bad mood, so kakak just said we shall cab down to marina for dinner at swensen's.

yes, kakak's treat, again.

the date with babylove went through yesterday.
because he's activated today. pffft.
so plans for sunday had to be cancelled. =(

met quite late and went to jb.
quite a bad timing coz we were stuck at the woodlands checkpoint.
by the time we reach rafi for our regular lunch whenever we go johor, my legs were all "stiff".

originally, we thought of washing the bike, but considering it was raining, we had to forgo the plan.
so went to isi minyak at shell,
camwhored a bit.
then off to singapore via the second link.

initial plan was to go vivo and watch ah long pte ltd.
been putting that movie aside till now.
but the queue at gv was so freaking long, and i thought babylove already booked the tix online that day, but he didnt.
so we ended up not watching any movie.

and its been a very very long time we last watched a movie. =(

so walked around.
and considering that i decided to rekindle my love for photography now,
we checked out some cameras and i fall in love with two canons.

powershot s5 is.

powershot g9.

shit.
another item to add in on my wishlist.
eyeing more on the s5 is, rather than the g9.

hmmm.

so walked around and there was danceworks '08 at the rooftop garden.
heh.

walked around some more. to check out the camera at courts and best.
price sama la.
i am so gonna get the camera by june. =p

then went off to pasir ris coz we had to babysit amirul and amirah. =)
